⚠️
A higher rate does not automatically mean a better return. These accounts use different currencies. A fall in that currency against the pound, euro or dollar can reduce—or completely erase—the extra interest.

What “access” means

A bank can still decline an application after identity, address and source-of-funds checks.

NON-RESIDENT The bank or market has a route intended for qualifying customers living abroad. Opening may still require paperwork, a minimum balance or a visit.
LOCAL VISIT Foreigners may be considered, but account opening commonly requires visiting a branch and supplying local documentation.
LOCAL ONLY The advertised product generally requires residency, citizenship, a local address, tax number or an existing local account.

Selected high-rate examples

Rates are reviewed regularly and selected for savings potential, accessibility and overall value. Always confirm the latest terms before applying.

Rate versus currency

A 20% deposit can lose money in your home currency if the deposit currency falls by more than the interest earned.

Access is not guaranteed

Residency, nationality, sanctions checks, minimum deposits and source-of-funds requirements vary between banks.

Check deposit protection

Protection limits and eligibility differ by country. Confirm that foreign or non-resident depositors are covered before transferring money.
