What “access” means

A bank can still decline an application after identity, address and source-of-funds checks.

NON-RESIDENT The bank or market has a route intended for qualifying customers living abroad. Opening may still require paperwork, a minimum balance or a visit.
LOCAL VISIT Foreigners may be considered, but account opening commonly requires visiting a branch and supplying local documentation.
LOCAL ONLY The advertised product generally requires residency, citizenship, a local address, tax number or an existing local account.
